We had so much fun last night at Room 5! PoetRoniGirl's Acoustically Speaking is definitely an event that is picking up momentum and has one of the best vibes in town. Not to mention talent!

Those who performed were many: a duo from Norway, Jill Marie, Cliff Beach, Luis Marino and more! Also, in the audience were many amazing artists: musicians, poets, visual artists, actors, flamenco dancers, comics, activists, and just some good all around people: nurses, clergy, marketing folks, lawyers - all supporters of the arts. It was so fun to share the good vibes and music, some of us even ended up on the street afterwards jamming!

So more to come, more to come. I am going to be out there gigging whenever I can, wherever. The stage is my safe place. I am a Leo afterall. : ) Thanks to everyone who came out to support me and live music.

For the past two months, I have been buried in the studio recording my newest, full-length CD, the title of which: Seeing Purple. I am very excited for this venture as it has stirred the pot of what I knew to be "my music". Many of the songs have full-band, some more acoustic. I hope you will keep visiting and buy it when it is released! Should be by late Fall (although, you know how this industry is...). More on that as we progress...
